Air India August 2012 Long-Haul Operation Changes

As per 16JUL12 GDS timetable and inventory display, Air India is extending interim schedule for long-haul service in August 2012, despite pilot industrial action has ended in early-July 2012. Planned long-haul operation as follows:

Delhi – Frankfurt – Chicago Boeing 777-300ER continues operation until 31AUG12, daily flight
Delhi – London Heathrow Daily 777-300ER service
Delhi – Paris CDG 3 weekly Boeing 777-300ER service. Service to operate daily once again by September 2012
Delhi – Singapore Daily 777-200LR service
Delhi – Shanghai Pu Dong 2 weekly Airbus A330-200 service
Delhi – Tokyo Narita 2 weekly Airbus A330-200 service
Mumbai – London Heathrow 3 weekly 777-300ER service. Service returns to daily from 01SEP12, and switches to -200LR from 16SEP12
Mumbai – Newark Daily 777-200LR service

Following sectors remain cancelled until 01SEP12:
Delhi – Chicago (777-300ER nonstop service)
Delhi – Frankfurt (777-200LR terminator service)
Delhi – Hong Kong – Osaka Kansai
Delhi – Hong Kong – Seoul Incheon
Delhi – Toronto
