Alitalia W12 Long-Haul Operation Changes as of 02JUL12

As per 02JUL12 GDS timetable and inventory display, latest changes to Alitalia’s planned Winter 2012/13 long-haul operation as follows. Additional changes remain possible:

Rome – Cairo Winter service operates 10 weekly, increases from 9 in W11
Rome – Caracas Airbus A330-200 service continues to operate in NW12, 6 times a week (5 weekly from 21JAN13 to 03MAR13)
Rome – Newark Service cancelled from 28OCT12 to 30MAR13
Rome – New York JFK Winter season operates as follows
AZ608 FCO1010 – 1345JFK 772 5
AZ608 FCO1010 – 1400JFK 330 x5
AZ610 FCO1440 – 1815JFK 772 D

AZ609 JFK1735 – 0810+1FCO 330 x5
AZ609 JFK1755 – 0810+1FCO 772 5
AZ611 JFK2150 – 1205+1FCO 772 D

Rome – Toronto eff 20OCT12 Airbus A330-200 replaces Boeing 767. Previously A330 service planned to operate until late-Dec 2012 only
Rome – Tripoli Airbus A319 operates daily, replacing MD80 in S12

Previously reported changes:
Rome – Beijing Service operates 4 times a week with A330, reduced from 5 weekly
Rome – Boston Airbus A330 operating in Winter 2012, replacing 767 in W11. Service operates 5 times a week
Rome – Lagos – Accra – Rome 3 weekly Airbus A330-200 service (to be introduced from 15JUN12, replacing 767)
Rome – Miami Service operates 6 times a week with A330, replacing 767 in W11
Rome – Osaka 5th weekly service maintained in W12, compared to 4 weekly in W11. A330 operating
Rome – Rio de Janeiro 10DEC12 – 16FEB13 Service increases from 5 to 6 weekly
Rome – Riyadh Service reduces from 4 weekly to 3 weekly, A320 operating
