Air India July 2012 International Operation Changes as of 14JUN12

As per 14JUN12 GDS inventory display, Air India further revised planned July 2012 International long-haul operation. Latest changes as follows:

Following routes to return to normal operation from 01AUG12:
Delhi – Chicago Service to operate as daily with Boeing 777-300ER. Current Delhi – Frankfurt – Chicago service operates until 31JUL12
Delhi – New York JFK Service to operate as daily with Boeing 777-300ER. Current Delhi – Paris CDG – New York JFK service operates until 31JUL12
Delhi – Shanghai Pu Dong Service operates twice weekly with A330-200 until 31JUL12. 4 weekly 777-200LR service from 01AUG12
Delhi – Singapore Service to be operated by Boeing 777-200LR. Current A320 service operates until 31JUL12
Delhi – Tokyo Narita Service to operate twice weekly with A330-200 until 31JUL12. 5 weekly 777-200LR service from 01AUG12

Following routes to resume operation from 01AUG12:
Delhi – Frankfurt Boeing 777-200LR operates daily
Delhi – Hong Kong – Osaka Kansai 3 weekly 777-200LR service
Delhi – Hong Kong – Seoul Incheon 4 weekly 777-200LR service
Delhi – Paris CDG Service from 01AUG12 will operate as terminator service once again with 777-200LR
Delhi – Toronto Boeing 777-300ER operates daily
Mumbai – Newark Boeing 777-200LR operates daily

Following routes remains not available for reservation until 31JUL12 (inclusive):
Mumbai – London Heathrow Boeing 777-300ER replaces -200LR from 01JUL12 to 15JUL12. (Reservation is open until 30JUN12 but closed from 01JUL12 to 31JUL12)

Additional long-haul flights as well as short-haul with widebody aircraft that has been affected by the strike may also sees reservation still being closed for the month of July 2012.
