Cathay Pacific Long-Haul Cuts; W12 Operation as of 17MAY12

As per 17MAY12 GDS timetable and inventory display, latest changes to Cathay Pacific’s Winter 2012/13 operation as follows. Note for Winter 2012 season, changes will go into effect from September 2012, 6-8 weeks earlier than usual.

Details:

Hong Kong – Amsterdam eff 01SEP12 Service operates as nonstop once again. Airbus A340-300 replaces 747-400 on Day x357
Hong Kong – Los Angeles eff 16SEP12 Service reduces from 21 to 17 weekly, CX884/885 operates on Day 146 only (This flight is operated by 3-class 777-300ER, no First Class)
Hong Kong – New York JFK eff 16SEP12 Nonstop service reduces from 21 to 18 weekly, CX846/845 operates Day x136 from HKG, Day x247 from JFK
Hong Kong – Paris CDG eff 01SEP12 All 2 daily flights operating as nonstop basis. CX261/260 to be operated by 4-class 777-300ER as planned from same date

Hong Kong – Toronto eff 16SEP12 Service reduces from 10 to 7 weekly, CX828/825 cancelled
