Air Niugini W10 International Service changes

Air Niugini from 31OCT10 is increasing a number of flights to Asia, accompanied by operational aircraft change.

As per 06OCT10 GDS timetable display, planned International service changes for Northern Winter 2010 season below:

Port Moresby – Brisbane Increase from 9 to 12 weekly (6 weekly 767, 1 weekly 757, 5 weekly F100). Fokker 100 operating service operates under PX020-029 flight number range

Port Moresby – Cairns Service remains 10 weekly
Port Moresby – Hong Kong eff 03NOV10 Increase from 1 to 2 weekly, new flight operates on Wednesdays from Port Moresby, Thursdays from Hong Kong

PX009 Day 1 service replaces Day 2 flight

Port Moresby – Honiara – Nadi 2 weekly Fokker 100 unchanged
Port Moresby – Kuala Lumpur eff 31OCT10 Service operates NONSTOP in both direction, replacing triangle flight with Singapore. Operating aircraft switches from 767 to 757

Port Moresby – Manila Boeing 757 replace 767, 2 weekly service (operational day change from Day 37 to Day 27)

Port Moresby – Singapore 2 weekly Boeing 767-300ER operating as terminator flight once again. 1 of 2 weekly flight no longer operates via KUL

Port Moresby – Sydney All 2 weekly service, including 1 weekly POM BNE SYD POM routing, operates with Boeing 757, replacing 767
